Empress Ltd. is a company founded in 2017 in Zenica. The company offers a wide variety of quality products, and aims to follow world trends within its capabilities. The company produces work clothes for women and men, home decor, bedding, quality face masks and many other textile products. We also produce high quality medical uniforms, protective face masks and safety suits while using new smart state of the art technology.
The company is doing business according to ISO standards: ISO 9001:2015, but the company wishes to point out that they also apply the standard ISO 14001:2015 by which they develop economic, social and ecological awareness of their employees.
Empress works with high quality materials, for which we possess certificates:
1. OEKO TEX for our material polypropylene
2. OEKO TEX for single-jersey cotton material
Today, the company's team has 21 employees, and thanks to their devoted work and effort, Empress is getting a better market position year after year. The company is a proud owner of our own brand of garden work clothes for women for garden work called “Queen of Garden”. We also have our own design and models of products which have found their place on the market. The company also does a part of its business through ‘lohn’ business principles, but that is just a small percentage of the company’s business.
We are ready to accept every new production challenge quickly and flexibly. The products of our company can be sold through sales agents, retail companies and online platforms.
Empress has introduced digital tools in its business and production processes, meaning that Optitex software has been incorporated, used for creating and modifying digital cutting patterns. Using this software, we have managed to do our production process easiliy and leaving minimum of textile waste after the cutting process is finalized.
During the past and the currents year, Empress has exportet its products to Germany and Austria. We have also acquirred new clients from Norway, Sweden, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. We have also been a part of a very important project with partners from Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia concerning resolving the problem of lack of qualified skilled workers in the textile industry.
It is very important to mention that Empress has implemented various development and improvement projects which were co-financed by international organisations such as UNDP, USAID, Challenge to change project funded by SIDA and many others. We are very proud of our own brand “Queen of Garden”, which has received awards for a unique and innovative product in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our plan is to keep on growing and improving our capacities, in order to increase export to the countries of Western Balkans and to the EU market.
